Taking Rachel's improv training helped to create a cohesive environment among Riot's recruiting team. By creating a safe space, Rachel encouraged everyone to step outside of their comfort zone to exhibit leadership and quick thinking. Improv is about active listening, accepting a given situation, building upon it, and yes, sometimes getting a little silly! Improv is a wonderful team building exercise that could be beneficial for all types of business teams.

Rachel is an awesome and effective improv ninja. During our time with her she created fun and entertaining exercises for our group. She then taught us how to effectively implement that practice into work and real life. From Rachel I learned to be present always, adapt quickly and 'yes and' life. I would definitely recommend anyone to take improv with Rachel, she's awesome.

I would highly recommend Rachel as an expert facilitator for any project. I've seen her effortlessly command both large and small rooms, tackling sensitive problems while seamlessly extracting genuine feedback out of participants. Rachel is thorough, focused, and considerate, in both the planning and execution of a session and is a real joy to work with.

I needed some help preparing for a performance - but what I got was so much more. Not only did Rachel understand what I needed to get out of our time she also taught me loads of other invaluable lessons along the way. She has a lovely way of encouraging and stretching you all in the same breath. Highly recommended.

I took a workshop with Rachel from Impromptyou to help me with public speaking. She had a wide variety of methods with which to teach me voice projection and confidence, amongst other things. Rachel's improvisation based training was very enjoyable; I found that she is competent, confident and creative, and her great personality made the workshop relaxed and so much fun, yet packed with information and tools for further practice and learning.

Since joining Riot and doing improv, I have been able to learn skills that help me channel my once restless energy. I have improved my listening skills, my ability to pick up on body language, and how to adapt my approach to fit the group of people that I'm interacting with. I really appreciate the way our improv class is structured, in that I am able to get introduced to a skill, practice it, and discuss how it can be applied to me professional (and personal!) life. Furthermore, I've been able to forge relationships with other Rioters that I wouldn't generally be able to work with.

You are very perceptive and a great listener. You ask powerful questions that help everyone around you to understand and align. You coach me in ways that feel supportive and make me feel like you are truly invested in my success and the team's success. You hold people accountable and call out bullshit in a way that means nobody feels bad.

I like how you started off with a series of activities both fun and professionally related that forced people to be active and mobile. This prevented anyone from stagnating in a way we see in many meetings. I thought it was really smart when you swapped people between groups working on a mission statement. This created a scenario where both groups walked into the alignment phase partially bought in to both of the mission statements proposed.

Rachel introduced me to the world of Improv, which allowed me to grow confidence in public speaking and learn different communication styles that cater to a variety of audiences and personalities. Rachel facilitated short improv games that were not only fun, but also tested ones mental agility and adaptability. She also hosted a learning and development program that gave a deeper insight to improv and how it could apply to the business world as well as theatre. These workshops encouraged me to get out of my comfort zone, and explore creative ways to express an idea whilst collaborating. Her passion in sharing this unique skill is reflected in her initiative to teach and her dedication to keep them really fun and engaging. I had so much fun attending these classes and I am absolutely grateful that I had the opportunity to learn from Rachel!

Rachel is an excellent facilitator. She is incredible at gathering information, prepping with purpose, and creating an environment around the toughest issues that is healthy and constructive. Rachel uses organizational improv in an inventive way to solve complex cultural problems. This innovation is one that cannot be ignored when talking about Rachel's performance. I have seen her push the envelope in terms of traditional facilitation and helping teams think about their retrospectives in new and interesting ways. Rachel is also a fantastic collaborating partner because she is an excellent listener. Rachel gets to the core of the issue easily and she is able to do this because she's able to process and parse another persons message quickly and effectively through active listening.

Rachel brings a ton of passion into her work and contagious energy from the second you meet her. I had the privilege of taking her Fundamentals of Improv courses and found great value in them from a professional and personal perspective. Namely, in maintaining presence. We're all wildly busy, but improv forces you to address what's happening right now, with no room for second-guessing, filtering, or judging what happens. I learned to actively listen and build on the ideas of others, and while it is indeed intimidating to run in the playground of uncertainty, I always had a blast with these workshops and thank Rachel for helping me grow in confidence and creativity. I feel that she truly cares about growing us as people.

Rachel is sure to be a positive and creative force within any company, bringing her unique program and project management skills with her. I attended an Improv course created and taught by Rachel that from my perspective was a huge success in unlocking the potential of each individual that attended. Rachel and I also worked for a time on an interviewer training project at Riot Games to train and assess the ability of new technical interviewers that eventually launched into a bigger program. Rachel is a pleasure to collaborate with and her cheerful attitude is sure to put a smile on your face!

I signed up for the class because I wanted to have fun and flex my creativity muscles, not really to help with any particular work skill. However, Rachel encouraged everyone in the class to set a personal growth goal at the beginning of the class, and then facilitated reflection on it through journaling and a check-in midway through the class. Even though it was not my intention going into the course, this ended up being extremely valuable for me. My growth goal was something I hadn't thought about that much previously (and might not have articulated had I not been forced to do so at the beginning of the class), but it ended up leading to a big self-awareness increase and has been very relevant to my recent work.

Rachel has been a wonderful mentor and role model. As a recent graduate, I was overwhelmed with starting my job search and anxious about reaching out to potential connections. She helped to connect me with industry professionals, aid my assessment of career options, and answered hundreds of my questions. She has dramatically helped to increase my confidence and grow my network. She has been one of the most approachable and supportive persons in my professional journey so far. I am so grateful for her support, encouragement, and mentorship! If you are looking for a coach or mentor, I highly recommend working with Rachel.

Passionate, observant, and incredibly knowledgeable are the phrases that come to mind when I think of Rachel. I had the pleasure of working with Rachel as a team facilitation mentor. I was always in awe of Rachel's ability to thoughtfully consider all aspects of how to get the best from individuals and groups - while also having fun. She is able to easily adjust her style to meet the diverse needs of any group she's working with, and leaves people with a feeling of empowerment. I would highly recommend Rachel for anyone looking to improve their personal or team impact.

Improv Queen!! I cant say enough about Rachel! I learned a ton from her Improv training and left knowing more about myself and my team than I ever thought I would. Since her departure, I feel that I can effectively communicate and contribute to meetings and interviews more confidently than I did before Improv.

I was fortunate to have attended the Improv Training that Rachel created for our Recruiting team. It was by far the most enjoyable corporate training that I have been a part of. Rachel has full command of her subject and she leads in a way that is both collaborative and highly engaging. Her impish English wit and her passion for improv created a true learning environment that allowed for individual development and team wins. And did I mention it was a blast?!

Rachel provided excellent improv classes, establishing a fun and creative environment in which to learn. She was able to tailor feedback based on each individual, and challenge us based on our strengths and weaknesses, while acknowledging growth and success along the way. Very happy I studied with her and thankful for the teachings.

I really can't say enough positive things about Rachel. She's organized, engaged, compassionate, inquisitive, diligent, and holds customer value in the highest regard. Leveraging these skills, I've seen her succeed both in product and delivery leadership capacities and would trust her to do either on a project I was invested in. She's an A+ facilitator, and a phenomenal communicator with the rare ability to keep others tuned in to their own needs while maintaining complete control of her own. She also holds the rare quality of realizing feedback is for the benefit of the receiver, and does a tremendous job of making it empathetic, timely, and actionable.

We reached out to Rachel to design and facilitate our company sales and marketing team offsite. We're a remote company, so we really wanted to make the most of our time together and come away with clear deliverables from the meeting. Rachel really kept us on track, and made sure all decisions and parking lot items were recorded. As a result, there was never a sense that something was 'decided' but then lost, never to return to it again, and there was no derailing due to off-topics, but rather an efficient use of the parking lot. Rachel is an excellent facilitator and very perceptive - she could immediately tell if and when we were going off on a tangent. With her help, it was a very productive few days, with clear action items at the end.

Rachel is such a remarkable person! It was such a pleasure getting to know her during our time together at Riot. Her training classes helped break a sense of routine and get me out of my head. She's organized and a skilled facilitator. Her communication style and genuine care for people creates a very welcoming environment where people feel comfortable collaborating together.
